Actors Release Form Template (Victoria Nwaeze)

Actors Release Form

This is the actors release form that we gave to each interviewee we intervied. This document gives us their concent to be filmed, also if they were under the age of 18, we would have got parental concent.

Voiceover Profile (Kafayat Shonubi)

Name:- Roxanne Darkin
Gender:- Female

We have used Roxanne as our voiceover because we feel her voice would make our documentary more effective than a mans voice. This is because our documentary is more dominated to the females than the males because the main use of contraception been handed out to young people is to reduce the amount of teenage pregnancy in UK and to protect them from STDs . This would enable viewers to engage with our documentary.

Loan of Equipment-Terms and Condition sheet (kafayat Shonubi)

LOAN OF EQUIPMENT – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This is the form we need to fill in when about to take out the camera and the other equipment off site. This includes:
  • Details of equipment borrowed
  • Any faults to do with individual equipment
  • Name of loaner
  • Course title
  • Signature
  • Student card number
  • Loaners Phone Number
  • Return dates

This is done in order to keep record of who is taking out equipment and what equipment is been handed to them.

Possible Broadcaster (Victoria Nwaeze)

The broadcaster in which we have choosen for our documentary to be aired on is BBC Three. BBC Three offere a wide range of educational and entertaining documentaries.
Reasons why we choose BBC three as our possible broadcaster :
  1.  Their target audience ranges between 13-34 , and our documentary is targeted at young people between the ages of 13 and 19. This allows our documentary to reach our specific target audience and also other ages.
  2. BBC Three show documentaries simular to our documentary.
  3. BBC Three have BBC iPlayer which allows you to catch up on a programme if you have missed or want to watch again.
  4. BBC Three also own a radio station called BBC 1 extra, our radio trailer can be advertised on this station.

Weekly Updates - (Abigail Odum)

Week 8

This week was the half-term and we all just carried on with work that had to be done on the blog. Also we contacted the school nurse about an interview and we are waiting for her to get back to us as she is quite busy. This week we also contacted the vicar of a church next to our college and we are trying to schedule a date to film.

Change Of Title (Group)

As we carried out more research on documentary titles we found that our title didn't really fit in with the documentary titles which BBC 3 used. After a lot of consideration we have decided to change our title to 'Sex,Teens & STD's'. We feel that this title will draw more attention to our documentary and it stands out much more than our old title.
